The brief was to create an oasis with lush plantings around an existing rural dam and also a small pond slightly above. Extensive rock work created a backdrop for the ponds, connected by a waterfall. A long jetty was created by the ponds to more easily access the water & use the dinghy. Establishing a sitting area allowed for enjoyment of the whole extensively planted setting.
The upper pond is a fishpond with its own filtration system and waterfall.
